Position Title: Product Manager, Implementation Services
Job Description:
The Product Manager is expected to interface with clients at various levels of organizations to answer questions, provide information, and represent company in a positive manner utilizing exceptional customer service skills. Similarly, the position requires outstanding support and responsiveness to coworkers and management.
In order to meet the job requirements, the Product Manager will be expected to support multiple projects, manage competing priorities, and meet scheduled completion dates. The position requires organization and efficiency skills to be successful.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
Provide product subject matter expertise to Sales, Consulting, Development, QA, Support, Marketing as needed
Gather, document and prioritize business requirements (functional and nonfunctional) for product development through customer meetings, sales calls, industry expert consulting, market research, internal requirements gathering
Provide business requirements to development resources within the iterative (e.g., agile) development process. Monitor implementation of product requirements for each release throughout lifecycle to ensure requirements are met, and make functionality/time tradeoffs with IT as required
Participate in walkthroughs of major product development deliverables such as specification reviews, models, test plans/results, etc
Coordinate with other functional areas (Sales, Consulting, Development, Operations, Finance, Support, etc.) to facilitate a smooth and successful launch of enhancements to existing products/services and new products/services to clients
Interface with clients and management; Establish and maintain strong client and/or internal relationships; Manage high-profile client’s expectations and deliverables, dealing with all levels of client organization
Support Project Managers, Engagement Managers and other project team resources by completing project tasks, meeting milestone dates, and supporting client needs and requests
Aptitude in Project Management skills and disciplines; Ability to manage projects and tasks using planning, organization, and administration skills; ability to juggle multiple tasks and clients and to set priorities appropriately

Education/Experience:

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Computer Skills:

Retail experience
The primary purpose of this position is to support the Vice President and Directors with tax compliance, government examinations, accounting/tax processes and staff development. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws.
The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
1. Schedule daily workflow and staff assignments in order to meet all filing deadlines.
2. Prepare and oversee the preparation of consolidated, federal, state, and local tax returns as well as other business taxes (property and tobacco taxes).
3. Calculate complex tax adjustments and associated work papers for department staff.
4. Record complex journal entries to the general ledger.
5. Review journal entries, account analyses, and other tax documents prepared by associates in the department to ensure that all information is accurate and that all returns are filed timely.
6. Review check requests and electronic fund transfers (EFTs) to pay taxes that are due.
7. Research federal and state laws and regulations to ensure that the Corporation is in compliance.
8. Analyze financial statements and accounts to ensure that all of the information is accurate and recorded properly.
9. Assist with the preparation of quarterly and yearly FAS109 income tax provisions.
10. Support all federal and state tax audits, inquiries, and correspondence.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Accounting or Business, plus three (3) years of public accounting experience or five (5) years within a large corporate tax environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. In addition, experience with IRS and state examinations is desirable.
